We are less than 100 days away from the pageant and yet there is still so much that needs to be done. I would like to thank everyone thus far who has contributed to my title quest. At this point, I'm still looking for the perfect dress and the perfect fitness outfit. If anyone has any ideas I welcome them.

One can learn a great deal from those who have already gone to places where they want to go. So if anyone out there is a former pageant participant or reigning queen, I welcome any advice, tips, ideas, or other information.

As this is my first pageant, the butterflies are gradually surfacing. I'm confident however in the support system that I have and the purpose of my journey. Breast cancer awareness is an issue of great concern....especially in the minority community.

The Quest

I am very excited about this project--the blog and my quest for the title of Miss Black Georgia. My hope is that through my journey others will become inspired. To get somewhere you have never been, you have to do things you have never done. Let's step out of our comfort zones and into our destinies. Ladies embrace the beauty that is in all of us.
