Brasstown Valley 2011
It seems like just yesterday when we first laid eyes upon each other, but on the contrary, we are celebrating ONE YEAR of Wedding Bliss. What better way to celebrate this momentous occasion then to take it back to where it all began? For our one year wedding anniversary, we traveled back to Brasstown Valley Resort. Brasstown was the site of our picturesque mountaintop, sunrise, surprising engagement.
On our way back from the mountains, we stopped in Helen, GA to do a little site seeing. It’s a quaint little town—we’ve decided it was at one point occupied by Germans..LOL…we’ll explain later. We walked around, relaxing and taking in the scenery…something we rarely get to do. We had a great time. We ate some good food. We had some good laughs as we “people-watched.”
On our first anniversary, we reflect on the both the delicate and hardy aspects of marriage and of our love for one another. We also started some new traditions that we hope will continue. Here’s to more laughter and more love throughout the years.
