In the confounding words of George W. Bush..."Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice.... can’t be fooled
again."
While W was just a little off in his regurgitation of a classic
quote, he had the right idea. We live in a society today where people are constantly
looking for easy money and easy solutions and oftentimes these easy methods
involve the scamming or misfortune of others.
We think of identity theft, claiming other folks’ kids on your
taxes and promises of monetary winnings when we think of the word SCAM; but
could this term be used in reference to marriage?
This topic was just too vast to make
one post so I’ve created a series where each post will focus on one of the top
reasons marriages do not survive: money, sex, codependence, infidelity,
business arrangement and kids.
